CWDM-MUX8A fiber optic splitter
CWDM-MUX8A (CWDM) is a passive MUX/DEMUX unit that allows you to combine up to eight fiber optic links into one, to simplify and reduce the cost of fiber optic installations over long distances. In the second place, the connected line is split again, so instead of eight long fiber optic lines, one is enough. Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (CWDM) technology offers a solution that will increase the capacity of existing fiber optic infrastructure by allowing multiple channels/wavelengths to be used in the same fiber optic cabling and reduce the cost of deploying a new fiber.
Faster and more economical solution
Up to eight independent SFP 1.25 Gb/s (up to 40 km) or SFP+ 10 Gb/s (up to 10 km) links can be created using a single fiber optic cable, which is a more affordable alternative to installing more fibers or renting additional fibers. You can even use 1.25Gbps and 10Gbps modules simultaneously.
CWDM technology allows for
Reduction of maintenance and installation costs for equipment
Reducing electricity consumption
Scalable and easier to implement fiber channel services
Increasing the efficiency of the existing fibre-optic network
