- Future-Proof: Designed for smooth migration to next-gen PON technologies like 50G PON.
- Reliability: Features separate control/forwarding planes and redundant control cards for high availability.
Application Scenarios
1. Suburban FTTH Deployment in France
A French regional telecom operator installed ZTE GFGH 16-port GPON boards in ZXA10 C650 OLTs to expand suburban FTTH coverage. Equipped with Class C+ optical modules, the GFGH supported a 1:128 split ratio, efficiently serving 2,000+ households across 5 villages. Its ALS function and optical power monitoring ensured stable 4K streaming and broadband access, while hot-swappable design simplified maintenance. The board’s 20km transmission reach optimized ODN investment, maintaining 99.9% service uptime.
2. Enterprise Campus Network in Australia
An Australian university adopted ZTE GFGH boards with ZXA10 C620 OLTs for its campus network upgrade. The 16-port GPON solution connected classrooms, dormitories, and labs, supporting 3,000+ concurrent users. Class B+ modules adapted to short-distance indoor cabling, and OLS compatibility enabled real-time network monitoring. Hot-swappable capability allowed line card replacement without downtime, ensuring uninterrupted online teaching and research data transmission.
