Patchcord (from English) single-mode cable with a length of 3m, cable diameter of the order of 3mm, terminated with LC/UPC-LC/UPC connectors is used to connect optical network equipment like switches and converters. It contains bidirectional transmission (Duplex). They are also widely used in FTTH networks to connect OLT and ONU/ONT devices.
