Nokia FGUT-A Overview

The Alcatel-Lucent FGUT-A is a 16-port symmetric 10G XGS-PON and GPON combo OLT interface board, compatible with Nokia Alcatel-Lucent 7360 ISAM FX-4 and 7360 ISAM FX-8 platforms. Working in tandem with optical network units (ONUs), it delivers both XGS-PON and GPON access services, featuring a 1.28Tb/s switching matrix, a maximum split ratio of 1:256, and SC interface type. Equipped with N1/C+ modules (with optional SFP+ modules N2a/D), its GPON channel supports 2.488 Gbit/s downstream and 1.244 Gbit/s upstream, while the XGS-PON channel offers 9.953 Gbit/s downstream and 9.953/2.488 Gbit/s upstream transmission rates.
