The FiberHome AN5516-06 is a compact carrier-class MSAN/GPON integrated access product with intermediate capacity, deployed in central offices and equipped with 6 service slots to suit moderate-density access scenarios where large-capacity access equipment would be underutilized; as part of the AN5516 product series that offers three different sizes for diverse application scenarios—large-capacity (AN5516-01/AN5516-06B), medium-capacity (AN5516-06), and small-capacity (AN5516-04)—it supports multiple services including VoIP, TDM, data, IPTV, and CATV to meet triple-play requirements, and when used in conjunction with remote-end ONUs, it forms a complete convergence layer function.
