CEL24XS12CQFD-E FAQ
Q1: Which Huawei switch models does the CEL24XS12CQFD-E support? How compatible is it?
A1: It mainly supports Huawei CE12800 series mid-to-high-end switches (CE12804/CE12808), CE8800 series high-end switches (CE8868-4C-EI), and some models of the CE9800 series. The interfaces and slots are fully matched, with 100% compatibility; simply plug it in and it's ready to use.
Q2: Can the 25G and 100G ports use low-speed optical modules separately? Are the long-distance transmission distances the same?
A2: The 25G port is compatible with 10G/1G optical modules, and the 100G port is compatible with 40G/25G optical modules. Independent mixed use is supported. Both types of ports cover long-distance transmission of 10km-40km; only the corresponding speed optical modules need to be used.
Q3: Does the mixed density design affect heat dissipation and stability? What is the power consumption per card?
A3: Adopts a low-power partition design, with single-card power consumption controlled at a low level compared to similar hybrid rate cards in the industry, and is compatible with the built-in cooling system of switches; 25G/100G ports have independent bandwidth allocation, and stability is not affected by hybrid density.
