Functions and Features of the LSH7X52BX2E0
Functions and Features
Description
Basic function
This card provides data packet processing and traffic management on 48 x 10GE optical ports and 4 x 100GE optical ports. The last eight 10GE ports and four 100GE ports cannot be available at the same time.
Maximum port density
If all LPUs are such cards:
The S16700-4 chassis provides up to 192 x 10GE ports, or 160 x 10GE ports and 16 x 100GE ports.
The S16700-8 chassis provides up to 384 x 10GE ports, or 320 x 10GE ports and 32 x 100GE ports.
10GE port
Ports 40 to 47 working at the rate of 10 Gbit/s and ports 0 to 3 working at the rate of 100 Gbit/s cannot be available at the same time. For example, if ports 40 to 47 are available, ports 0 to 3 are unavailable.
When the optical ports work in 10GE mode, they support SFP+ 10GE optical modules, 10GE high-speed cables, and AOC cables.
When the optical ports work in GE mode (only the first 40 ports can work at the rate of 1 Gbit/s), they support SFP GE optical modules and 1000BASE-T copper modules. When 1000BASE-T copper modules are used, the ports support 100M/1000M auto-sensing, and shielded Ethernet cables must be used.
100GE port
Ports 40 to 47 working at the rate of 10 Gbit/s and ports 0 to 3 working at the rate of 100 Gbit/s cannot be available at the same time. For example, if ports 40 to 47 are available, ports 0 to 3 are unavailable.
100GE optical ports support QSFP28 and QSFP+ optical modules as well as high-speed cables. A 100GE optical port can be used as a 40GE optical port.
The four 100GE optical ports are independent, and each 100GE optical port can be used as a 40GE optical port through auto-sensing but cannot be split.
NOTE:
By default, 40 x 10GE ports and 4 x 100GE ports are available. The four 100GE ports can be configured to work as eight 10GE ports using the port combination-mode interface command.
Hot swapping
Supported
MACsec
10GE ports 0 to 23 and combo ports (10GE ports 40 to 47 or 100GE ports 0 to 3) support MACsec. Other ports do not support MACsec.

LSH7X52BX2E0 FAQ
Q1: Which optical modules are supported? Can existing 1G optical modules be reused?
A1: Supports Huawei SFP+/SFP series optical modules. SFP+ (SR/LR) modules are used for 10G, and SFP modules are used for 1G. Existing 1G optical modules can be directly reused, reducing upgrade costs.
Q2: What is the maximum number of terminals supported by a single service board?
A2: A single port can stably connect 30-40 terminals. With 52 ports, a total of 1500-2000 terminals can be supported, meeting the needs of ultra-large-scale aggregation scenarios.
Q3: What are the differences between this board and the Huawei LSH7C36HX2E0 (36-port 10GE)?
A3: Higher port density (52 ports vs. 36 ports), larger capacity (1.04T vs. 720G), suitable for ultra-large-scale 10G access scenarios, lower power consumption per port, and a more significant cost advantage.
