Description
Indicator Status
Input protection
Input undervoltage protection
In this protection state, the power module is turned off and stops supplying power. When the system recovers from input undervoltage, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
The INPUT indicator shown in Figure 2 is blinking green.
Input overvoltage protection
In this protection state, the power module is turned off and stops supplying power. When the system recovers from input overvoltage, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
The INPUT indicator shown in Figure 2 is blinking green.
Input overcurrent protection
In this protection state, the power module is turned off and stops supplying power. The power module cannot automatically resume power supply and needs to be replaced.
The INPUT indicator shown in Figure 2 is off.
Output protection
Output overvoltage protection
In this protection state, the power module is turned off and stops supplying power. When the system recovers from output overvoltage, the power module cannot automatically resume power supply.
The OUTPUT indicator shown in Figure 2 is off and the ALARM indicator is steady red.
Output current limiting protection
In this protection state, the output current is limited to a certain value. When the system recovers from output overcurrent, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
The OUTPUT indicator shown in Figure 2 is steady green.
Output short-circuit protection
In this protection state, the power module supplies power intermittently, and the output current is limited within a range. When the system recovers from output short-circuit, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
The OUTPUT indicator shown in Figure 2 is off.
Overtemperature protection
On a fully loaded chassis, the power module stops supplying power when the temperature exceeds 65°C and resumes power supply when the temperature falls below 65°C.
When the temperature of the power module exceeds 65°C, the OUTPUT indicator shown in Figure 2 is off, and the ALARM indicator is steady red.
Hot swap
The power module is hot swappable.

PDC-2200WA FAQ
Q1: Which Huawei devices does the PDC-2200WA support? How compatible is it?
A1: It mainly adapts to Huawei CE8800, CE7800, and CE6800 series mid-to-high-end/mid-range switches. The size and power interface are perfectly matched, with 100% compatibility. Simply plug and play.
Q2: How to switch between AC and DC inputs? Is manual configuration required?
A2: The module automatically identifies the input power type (AC/DC). No manual configuration is required. Simply plug in the corresponding power supply, and it will automatically switch the power mode. The switching process is seamless and does not affect device operation.
Q3: Can the 2200W power supply meet the power requirements of medium-to-high density interface cards? How many modules are needed for redundant deployment?
A3: The 2200W power supply can fully support the total power requirements of the switch + medium-to-high density interface cards. For standard redundant deployment, 1+1 (2 modules) is recommended. For high-load scenarios, 2+1 (3 modules) can be selected to ensure sufficient power supply.
