Huawei CE128000 Series Switch PHD-3000WA 3000 W AC&high-Voltage DC Power Module. Functions of a 3000 W AC&high-voltage DC power module
Function
Description
Indicator Status
Input protection
Input undervoltage protection
In this protection state, the power module is turned off and stops supplying power. When the system recovers from input undervoltage, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
The Input indicator shown in Figure 2 is blinking green.
Input overvoltage protection
In this protection state, the power module is turned off and stops supplying power. When the system recovers from input undervoltage, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
The Input indicator shown in Figure 2 is blinking green.
Input overcurrent protection
In this protection state, the power module is turned off and stops supplying power. The power module cannot automatically resume power supply and needs to be replaced.
The Input indicator shown in Figure 2 is off.
Output protection
Output overvoltage protection
If output overvoltage is caused by the power module itself, the power module is turned off and stops supplying power. The power module cannot automatically resume power supply.
If output overvoltage is caused by increase of the input voltage received from the external power source, the power module is turned off and stops supplying power. When the system recovers from output overvoltage, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
If output overvoltage is caused by the power module itself, the Output indicator shown in Figure 2 is off and the Alarm indicator is steady red.
If output overvoltage is caused by increase of the input voltage received from the external power source, the Output indicator shown in Figure 2 is steady green.
Output current limiting protection
In this protection state, the output current is limited to a certain value. When the system recovers from output overcurrent, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
The Output indicator shown in Figure 2 is steady green. When the output voltage is lower than 44 V DC, the Output indicator is off.
Output short-circuit protection
In this protection state, the power module supplies power intermittently, and the output current is limited within a range. When the system recovers from output short-circuit, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
The Output indicator shown in Figure 2 is off.
Overtemperature protection
When the temperature of the power module ranges from 55°C to 75°C, the output current reduces linearly as the temperature increases. When the temperature exceeds 75°C, the power module stops supplying power. When the temperature falls below 75°C, the power module can automatically resume power supply.
When the temperature of the power module ranges from 55°C to 75°C, the Output indicator shown in Figure 2 is steady green. When the temperature exceeds 75°C, the Output indicator is off.
Hot swap
The power module is hot swappable.

PHD-3000WA FAQ
Q1: Which Huawei devices does the PHD-3000WA support? How compatible is it?
A1: It mainly adapts to Huawei CE9800, CE8800, and CE7800 series high-end switches. The size and power supply interface are perfectly matched, with 100% compatibility. It can be used simply by plugging and unplugging, requiring no additional debugging.
Q2: What are the advantages of the ultra-wide voltage input? Can it handle unstable power grid scenarios?
A2: The ultra-wide input range (85-264V AC) is compatible with large fluctuations in power grid voltage, eliminating the need for additional voltage regulators. Even with power grid voltage fluctuations of ±30%, it can still output stably, fully handling unstable power grid scenarios.
Q3: Does redundant deployment require complex configuration? Will a single module failure affect services?
A3: It supports one-click activation of redundancy mode, simplifying the configuration process. After a single module fails, the remaining modules instantly take over power supply, ensuring seamless device operation and uninterrupted services. Only the failed module needs to be replaced later.
