Series switches CloudEngine S16700 is an advanced core device with exceptional performance designed for efficient 10-Gigabit enterprise networks. This series features ultra-high throughput at the level of 14,4 Tbit/with in every slot, unrivaled switching hardware and wide access to terminals. One of the key features CloudEngine S16700 is pioneering the use of channel grouping technology between chassis (M-LAG) in corporate networks, providing a level of reliability at an amazing level 99,9999%.

A1: It supports a maximum of 64 10GE ports, 32 25GE/40GE ports, or 16 100GE ports; compatible with the full range of Huawei line cards, including the LE0DX16XSA00 (16-port 10GE) and LE0DX8X25SA00 (8-port 25GE), offering flexible expansion.
 
Q2: Does it support dual-core redundant deployment? How is service continuity ensured?
 
A2: It supports dual-core IRF2 stacking or VRRP backup deployment. The cores are interconnected via a 100GE link. In the event of a single core failure, services automatically switch to the backup core without any noticeable interruption.
 
Q3: What are the differences between it and the Huawei S12700 series? A3: The S16700-8 focuses on medium to large core scenarios, with more slots (8 slots) and stronger expansion capabilities; the S12700 series focuses on small to medium core/convergence, with better cost performance.
